I think this would be best, though I try to keep things as flat as possible :

categories :

  • character: for individual characters
  • comic: or series: for main pages of comic series
  • group: for supergroups
  • issue: for individual issues.

What do you think?

You reading my mind again???? I thought you wouldn't do that anymore :)

That's where I was planning on going but I couldn't get figure out if it should be simply flat or categorized into universes (i.e. Marvel Universe). But Marvel & DC have criss crossed so many times and then both Marvel & DC have all of these alternate universe story lines that I kinda got frustrated and shelved it for later.

I think your right that keeping things as flat as possible is the right solution and probably the simplest for novice folks to add content.

There can be separate marvel character / dc character page that lists the characters. I'm thinking that CBW should give a general profile, issue history, etc, as pertains to comic book collecting and then later using a top down approach, you can spawn separate marvel / dc universe wikis. — hartnell
